About Us

Who We Are

HEM opened its doors in 1988 with the goal of providing top-tier higher education. We offer Bac+5 programs for high school and university graduates, as well as Executive Education programs for working professionals.

HEM has 4 campuses in Morocco’s largest cities: Casablanca (opened in 1988), Rabat (opened in 1993), Marrakesh (opened in 2004) and Tangier (opened in 2008).

HEM is a school with a social conscience. In 1998, we were the first private higher education institution in Morocco to launch a series of free seminars open to the public, called the Université Citoyenne. In 2007, we founded the HEM Research Centre, with the aim of disseminating knowledge to as wide an audience as possible.

In 2013, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, became a shareholder of HEM. A first in Morocco’s private education sector.

In 2019, HEM joined LCI Education, a learning community made up of 23 campuses on 5 continents, with 2,000 colleagues involved in educating over 20,000 learners worldwide each year.

In 2020, HEM launched its School of Computer Engineering at the Casablanca campus.
